What this covers. Clean Revolution operates an online store at mycleanrevolution.com and a mobile app for planning household cleaning. These terms cover both, together with the text messaging service described below. Where we say "the Services" we mean all of them.
Welcome to Clean Revolution. The terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Clean Revolution. These Terms of Service, together with any policies referenced in them, describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services. Please read them carefully, as they include important information about your legal rights and cover areas such as warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability.
By visiting, interacting with or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use or access the Services.
By agreeing to these Terms you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, and that you have given us consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use the Services on devices you own, purchase or manage.
To use the Services you may be asked to provide certain information, such as your email address and billing, payment and shipping information. You represent and warrant that all information you provide is correct, current and complete, and that you have all rights necessary to provide it. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all account activity. You may not transfer, sell, assign or license your account to anyone else.
The app helps a household plan and share cleaning work. It builds a weekly plan, tracks what has been done, lets tasks be assigned between household members, and can send reminders by push notification, email, or text message. It is a planning tool, not advice about safety, health or the use of any cleaning product. Always follow the instructions on a product label.
Clean Revolution runs two separate text message programs. The program described in this section is Coach Texts, sent by the Clean Revolution app about your own household's cleaning plan. It is an account notification program and never carries marketing or promotional content. Our store separately sends promotional text messages to customers who ask for them. That is a different list with its own opt-in, and joining one never joins you to the other.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories of information sharing exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information is not shared with any third parties.
Your mobile number is never sold or rented, and it is never used to send you marketing or promotional text messages. It is used only to deliver the Clean Revolution messages described here, and it is shared only with the telecommunications provider that delivers them on our behalf.
There are exactly two ways a number joins the messaging program:
Text messages are optional. You never have to agree to them to create an account, join a household, use the app or buy anything.
We never add a number on someone else's word, and we never text a number that has not opted in through one of those two paths. We record the number you entered, the date and time of your consent, and the exact wording shown on screen when you gave it.
Up to 4 messages a day if you are an account holder, depending on the frequency you choose (the lowest setting is up to 1 a day), and up to 2 a day if you are a household member. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Messages are not sent between 8:30 PM and 7:00 AM in your local time.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
You may add other people to your household and share a cleaning plan with them. If you add someone with a mobile number, we do not text them on your say-so. You send them an invitation link yourself, and they decide for themselves whether to receive text messages: the page that link opens lets them enter their own mobile number and tick a consent box, or leave both empty and join without texts. A number you entered for them is only how the invitation reaches them, and it is never treated as their consent. Until they opt in themselves, nothing is sent to their number.
You must only enter contact details you are authorised to enter, and only for people who are willing to be part of your household in the app. Anyone we text can reply STOP at any time, which stops all messages to that number and cannot be reversed by you.
We have made every effort to represent our products and services accurately in our online store. Colors or product appearance may differ from how they appear on your screen due to your device and its settings. We do not warrant that the appearance or quality of any product or service purchased by you will meet your expectations or be the same as depicted in the store. All descriptions are subject to change at any time without notice at our sole discretion, and we may discontinue any product or limit quantities offered to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction.
When you place an order you are making an offer to purchase. Clean Revolution reserves the right to accept or decline your order for any reason at its discretion. Your order is not accepted until we confirm acceptance, and we must receive and process your payment before it is accepted. Please review your order carefully before submitting, as we may be unable to accommodate cancellation requests after an order is accepted. If we do not accept, change or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the email, billing address or phone number provided at the time of the order. You represent and warrant that your purchases are for your own personal or household use and not for commercial resale or export.
Prices, discounts and promotions are subject to change without notice. The price charged will be the price in effect when the order is placed, as set out in your order confirmation email. Unless expressly stated, posted prices do not include taxes, shipping, handling, customs or import charges. You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase, payment and account information, and to update it promptly. You represent and warrant that the payment information you provide is true, correct and complete, that you are authorised to use it, and that you will pay the charges you incur at the posted prices.
We are not liable for shipping and delivery delays. All delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed, and we are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, or events outside our control. Once we transfer products to the carrier, title and risk of loss pass to you.
The Services, including all trademarks, brands, text, displays, images, graphics, reviews, video and audio, and the design, selection and arrangement of them, are owned by Clean Revolution, its affiliates or licensors, and are protected by U.S. and foreign intellectual property laws. These Terms permit you to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display or perform, republish, download, store or transmit any material on the Services without our prior written consent. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
You may be given access to third-party tools we neither monitor nor control. They are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties, representations or conditions of any kind and without endorsement, and we have no liability arising from your use of them. The Services may also contain links to websites operated by third parties. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating their content or accuracy, and we are not liable for any harm related to your access to them. Review their policies before you transact with them.
Our store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the store to you. Any sales and purchases you make in the store are made directly with Clean Revolution. By using the store you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sale between you and Clean Revolution, including any injury, damage or loss resulting from purchased products and services, and you expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with us. The Clean Revolution mobile app and its messaging service are operated by Clean Revolution and are not provided by Shopify.
All personal information we collect through the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, and certain personal information collected through the store may also be subject to Shopify's privacy policy. By using the Services you acknowledge that you have read them.
If you submit any ideas, suggestions, feedback, reviews or proposals ("Feedback"), you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, sublicensable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute and display that Feedback in any medium for any purpose, including commercial use. You represent that you own or have all necessary rights to the Feedback, that you have disclosed any compensation received in connection with it, and that it complies with these Terms. We are under no obligation to keep Feedback confidential, to pay for it, or to respond to it, and we may remove Feedback we determine to be unlawful or objectionable.
Occasionally there may be information in the Services containing typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, shipping charges, transit times or availability. We reserve the right to correct any of these and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information is inaccurate, at any time and without prior notice, including after you have submitted your order.
You may access and use the Services for lawful purposes only. You may not use them: for any unlawful or malicious purpose; to violate any regulations, rules, laws or ordinances; to infringe our intellectual property rights or those of others; to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, intimidate or harm any person; to transmit false or misleading information; to send any advertising or promotional material such as junk mail, chain letters or spam; to impersonate any person or entity; or to engage in conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use of the Services.
You also agree not to upload or transmit viruses or malicious code; to reproduce, duplicate, copy, extract, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Services; to collect or track the personal information of others; to spam, phish, pharm or pretext the Services; to use any robot, spider, scraper, data extraction tool, AI tool or automated means to access the Services; or to interfere with, bypass or circumvent our security or authorization features. We may suspend, disable or terminate your account at any time, without notice, if we determine you have violated any part of these Terms.
This section applies if you use, allow, enable or cause the deployment of an Agent to access or interact with the Services. "Agent" means software or a service that takes autonomous or semi-autonomous action on behalf of, or at the instruction of, any person or entity, and that can be executed without direct supervision. No Agent may access or interact with the Services unless it identifies itself in every HTTP or HTTPS request by including "Agent/[agent name]" in the user agent string, does not conceal that it is an Agent or mimic human interaction patterns, does not complete or circumvent CAPTCHAs or similar measures, responds truthfully to any prompt asking whether it is human, and does not circumvent measures controlling Agent access. We may limit, including by technical means, whether and how any Agent accesses the Services.
You may stop using the Services at any time and may delete your account from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, or if we discontinue the Services. Obligations and liabilities incurred before termination survive it.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that messages will be delivered. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clean Revolution is not liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clean Revolution and its affiliates, officers, employees and agents from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party, including any claim arising from contact details you entered for another person.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version and update the "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept it. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
